V-ger

Voyager II was launched in 1977 and over the next decade visited Jupiter (1979), Saturn (1980), Uranus (1986) and Neptune (1989), before heading out of our solar system. 35 years after launch it is still sending back data, helping us learn about the outer reaches of our sun's influence.
